Meet The Founder
Tonna Obaze Entrepreneur. Investor. Advisor.
Tonna Obaze has served as a chief of staff, investor & strategist at Goldman Sachs, Girls Who Invest, Harlem Capital and a number of diversity focused venture capital funds. Additionally, she has consulted and collaborated with various Fortune 500 companies and executives. She has also worked alongside the State of New York Governor’s Office and the City of New York Mayor’s Office, advising on tech policy.
Tonna has been recognized by Nasdaq & Ladderworks as a Social Entrepreneur & Ecosystem Builder advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Tonna is a nationally ranked public speaker & speechwriter, awarded by Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Tonna is deeply committed to public service. She serves as a Board Member of the Union Catholic Regional High School and was appointed to the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc Eastern Regional Leadership Team. She has spearheaded community initiatives such as the Gamma Chapter Reading Room (a community center for West Philadelphia youth) and the Black Ivy League Business Conference, the first conference of its kind.
Tonna graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, being named a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and awarded the Makuu Award for Exemplary Community Leadership.
